Deborah Lawrence

Dip Class K. AKFRP

I have been a counsellor and therapist since 1991. My previous work included being part of a multi-disciplinary team for community dementia support and for Mencap.

Counselling gives a safe, confidential space to engage, explore and resolve life’s difficulties in the most appropriate way for you. All our needs and personalities are different. I help you to consider your unique situation to reach an ideal solution.

I run my full-time private clinic in Leicester, East Midlands, UK. I have extensive experience working with a wide range of difficulties in stress and trauma, and its impact on physical, emotional, mental and sexual wellbeing.

My work also concentrates on relationships when high functioning autism (ASD); previously referred to as Asperger’s Syndrome, is present. I work with clients who may be diagnosed, undiagnosed or misdiagnosed.

I am also a Consultant of Cassandra Syndrome. I have experience supporting neuro typical partners within relationships or after separation. I run a Cassandra Syndrome support group and give talks and advice to groups and professionals.

My work is always client focused and I work with individuals, couples, families and companies.

Contact me either by email or a phone call to discuss how I may help you.
